Parable & Pine / Brand resources
Our brand, clearly told.
Contemporary sacred art rooted in Scripture. These are the marks, typefaces, colors, and principles that hold our work together—wherever it is shared.
Explore the assets01 / The identity
Rooted in the name.
A recognizable pine cone, built from angular scales. Faceted gives our name a clear material reference. The identity stays quiet; the artwork and its stories carry our Christian foundation.
SVG: scalable, outlined artwork for design and print. PNG: transparent, 2400 pixels high for everyday tools. All files have transparent backgrounds. If an asset opens in a new tab, use Save as to download it.
Give it room
Keep at least half the pine cone’s visible width clear on every side of the emblem or full logo. Measure beyond the artwork, not the file’s transparent edge.
Keep the scales open
Start at 48 px high for the emblem and 160 px high for the full logo. In print, start at 12 mm and 40 mm high respectively. These are working minimums: proof the actual size and substrate.
Choose quiet ground
Use Pine Ink on Parchment or Gallery White, and Parchment on Pine Ink. Place the logo on a calm, solid field. Avoid busy artwork, low contrast, and competing patterns.
Keep the original
Scale proportionally. Do not stretch, rotate, redraw, rearrange the scales, retype the wordmark, or add shadows, outlines, gradients, or decorative effects. Use the emblem alone only where the brand name is already clear.
02 / Typography
Warmth. Then clarity.
Our storefront pairs an editorial serif with a straightforward sans serif. Carry the same pairing into presentations, printed matter, social graphics, and correspondence.
Lora

Use Regular 400 for headlines, artwork and collection titles, and short editorial statements. Keep headings in sentence case; reserve italics for brief, purposeful emphasis.

Body & functionalClear words. Room to look.
Use Regular 400 for body copy and Bold 700 for emphasis. Set comfortable line spacing, around 1.5–1.7. Use small, spaced capitals for short labels only—not paragraphs.
Get Work Sans on Google FontsThe logo is fixed artwork, not a font specimen. Its Newsreader wordmark and Manrope lettering in the original tagline lockup are outlined. Do not recreate the logo with Lora, Work Sans, or a substitute font.
Download fonts from the official Google Fonts pages and retain the supplied SIL Open Font License notices when redistributing font files. Install Lora and Work Sans before opening editable brand documents; check exports for missing-font substitutions.
03 / Color palette
A quiet frame for art.
Pine Ink and Parchment lead. The supporting neutrals create breathing room; Aged Gold is a small accent. Collection artwork can range far beyond this palette.

Use Pine Ink or Bark for text on light backgrounds, and Parchment on Pine Ink. Aged Gold is not a body-text color on the light palette. Check contrast when creating new combinations; do not use color alone to communicate meaning.
04 / In other media
One identity. Many settings.
Start with the supplied files. Keep the identity calm and consistent, and give each artwork the space and attention it deserves.
Social & screens
Use SVG on the web, or a transparent PNG in Canva and social tools. Keep exports in sRGB and supply at least twice the displayed pixel size. Center the emblem in an avatar’s safe area and preview its circular crop. Keep logos off busy artwork; never use a screenshot as the master.
Print & packaging
Place the SVG as vector artwork and preserve its proportions. Ask the printer to convert the RGB palette using the output profile for the chosen stock; hex codes are not CMYK or spot-color specifications. Proof at actual size. Foil, embossing, stamps, and embroidery need a separate reproduction test before approval.
Slides & documents
Install Lora and Work Sans, then use Lora for titles and Work Sans for copy. Insert the SVG where supported; otherwise use the PNG without stretching it. Use quiet backgrounds and generous margins. Export a PDF with fonts embedded and check it on another device before sending.
Partners & editorial
Share the supplied logo files and this guide together. Write the name as Parable & Pine, preserving the ampersand. Identify the brand as contemporary sacred art rooted in Scripture. Asset access does not grant permission to reproduce or resell the artworks, alter the identity, or imply an endorsement.
05 / The words we stand behind
Sacred stories for contemporary spaces.
Use this primary tagline exactly. Write like a thoughtful curator who loves both Scripture and the life of a home: clear, warm, specific, and confident about our Christian foundation. Keep poetry brief and purposeful.
Let the work invite a response; do not prescribe one. Avoid inflated luxury language, promises of healing or blessing, and claims that generated imagery is hand-painted. “Scripture, seen anew.” is a secondary editorial line, not a replacement tagline.
